genU Business Enterprises has several businesses out in the Geelong and Colac communities.
These businesses give the public a chance to see a social enterprise in action, all the while providing meaningful employment to people living with disabilities.
Retail and hospitality roles allow employees to develop important work skills, in addition to building confidence and capacity.
These businesses also act to educate and build awareness in the public. Above all, they help us work towards achieving genU’s vision of ‘building inclusive communities’.

As well as our supported employees, we also have a dedicated team of professional staff who are qualified to work in an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE). This team teaches and guides supported employees in the early stages of their career path.
