International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) marks an important day in the calendar for genU. Our organisation was founded upon building inclusive communities and raising awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability is core to our services and support.
Matt, his genU Employment Pathways coordinator and his MatchWorks employment consultant have been working together to reach his goal of gaining paid employment, which he has achieved.
October 10-16 is National Carers Week. genU recognises and celebrates the incredible contributions carers make to their families and our community every day.
With COVID playing havoc with events these past few months, genU was excited to officially launch our new low intensity mental health service in partnership with the Western Victoria Primary Health Network.
Commencing from July 1st 2021, genU will be offering free low intensity mental health services across Western Victoria for people with, or at risk of, mild mental health conditions.
