COVID Notification – Wyndham Park Community House



Dear genU participants, families, and carers of Wyndham Park House.

Following on from our communication yesterday, I wanted to provide an update to the identified close contact attending Wyndham Park House this week.

genU has been notified that the participant has now tested positive. This was infectious and attended Wyndham Park House on Tuesday 13th July from 9:00am to 3:00pm and Jamieson Way Community Centre on Wednesday 14th July from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Wyndham Park House has been categorised as a Tier 1 exposure site.  This means that anyone who attended during these times will be required to immediately isolate, get a COVID test, and remain quarantined for 14 days from the date of exposure.

The Department Health & Human Services (DHHS) will contact you directly and advise you of the next steps.  Wyndham Park House has undergone a deep clean on 15th July and will remain closed until we receive clearance to reopen from DHHS.

I appreciate that this will be an anxious time for you but rest assured that genU is here to support you. If you require additional supports in your home during this time, genU is available to assist. Please contact one of the people below for further information. A representative from the NDIS will also be in contact to discuss support requirements during this time.
