Employment at genU

Supported Employment provides extra workplace support, training and flexibility for people living with disability.

As a genU Supported Employee you get valuable experience in a real job and earn genuine pay. You’ll have support to try new things and get to enjoy being part of a great team. As well as on-the-job training, you can access a range of short and long courses to help you develop valuable skills.

You will work alongside genU support staff and mentors committed to understanding and respecting your needs and goals.

Food services
Develop catering, food processing, and cafe service skills with tailored training and support.

Landscaping and grounds maintenance
Work outdoors and enjoy a hands-on experience in garden care, design, maintenance and more.

Packing & warehousing
Build the skills to work confidently in a warehouse, gain experience in packaging, distribution, assembly and more.

Commercial laundry
Gain hands-on experience in industrial laundry operations. Work in a supportive environment and learn to operate laundry equipment, sort linen, maintain quality standards.

Nursery
Cultivate plants, learn about sustainable gardening practices, obtain customer service skills, and contribute to the beauty of our local environment.
