Choose how you want to spend each day with genU’s Community Access options.
Tell us what you want to do and we’ll support you to make it happen.
After discussing the types of activities you want to do each day, we work with you to design a lifestyle program that suits you.

Staying Connected Program
Social support for those who are 65+
For older people living in the Mornington Peninsula community, our social support volunteer program Staying Connected matches and coordinates volunteers who provide you with one-to-one social support, regular contact and companionship.
It’s all about getting out there, to be a better you, so our volunteers may provide home visiting, social outings or social support activities, and of course, a little fun, laughter and companionship along the way!
Support available from 1-3 hours per week.
Social support groups
Social support groups provide an opportunity for participants to attend and engage in social interactions away from home.
The structured activities are provided in a group-based environment and are designed to develop, maintain and support social interaction and independent living. Our group-based activities and excursions promote physical activity, cognitive stimulation and emotional wellbeing.
Activities include light refreshments, a meal (if attending over lunch time) and associated transport or personal assistance as required.
Social support groups are available in Lara and Ocean Grove.
