Our skilled and qualified accommodation team use person-centred active support to encourage you to develop daily living skills that boost your independence and participation in local community activities.

Person-centred support is provided around four essential principles:

  • Every moment has potential
  • Little and often
  • Graded assistance to ensure success
  • Maximising choice and control

Support depends on your individual needs and can vary from morning, afternoon and sleepover support, through to active night support.

We develop each house around universal design principles to make sure you’re safe, comfortable and as independent as possible in your home.

If you have a disability, our overnight respite properties offer you short-term accommodation in a supported group setting. We offer overnight, weekend and holiday respite. Our houses have a friendly atmosphere where your family and friends are welcome to visit you.

Located across Victoria, our respite houses feature:

  • Large living areas
  • Fully accessible bathrooms and toilets
  • Recreational facilities
  • Outdoor BBQ and entertaining areas

Most of our houses are close to public transport and shopping centres so you can get out and about.

Our tenancy and housing program My Own Place gets you private accommodation that is affordable and permanent.

We can help you find and inspect rental properties, fill out application forms and leases, and apply for financial assistance.

We can also help you with organising removalists, packing, unpacking and getting settled into your new home. We don’t stop there. After your move, you can rely on us to continue working with you to maintain your accommodation and independence.
