Onsite Shared Support (OSS)
genU’s concierge Onsite Shared Support (OSS) model was developed with clients front of mind, giving you the freedom of your own home, with skilled staff available around the clock for those moments when you need a helping hand.
Whether you’re living in a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) apartment or unit, our OSS service provides peace of mind, safety, and independence — all delivered with dignity and respect.
What is Onsite Shared Support?
Our concierge-style OSS service has been designed with your independence at the centre. It offers:
- A private home of your own
- Support staff onsite within metres
- Access to unplanned and unscheduled assistance when you need it
- A flexible and dignified approach to support.
OSS runs separately from your Individual Support services, giving you an additional safety net outside of your scheduled support times. It’s reassurance without intrusion. Support that’s ready when you are.
How OSS works
OSS is available in select SDA properties, which feature modern, accessible design and a choice of apartment or unit-style living. Each resident lives in their own space, while a trained team is onsite 24/7 to assist with:
- Unplanned or reactive support
- Safety and wellbeing checks
- Short, one-off tasks that help you stay independent
- Emergencies or unexpected situations
It’s like having a concierge whose role is simply to help you live the life you choose.
