artX

Close to 400 works of art by experienced and emerging artists are showcased annually at genU artX events. 

Celebrating the diversity of artists within the communities in which genU operates, our artX exhibitions provide an important platform for participating artists to have their work seen by a wide audience which is a big step in the professional development of all artists.

Each year, we run a Regional event which covers Geelong, Warrnambool, Colac and Hamilton and a Metro event that covers Wyndham, Northcote and Bayside. 

Entered works span wide-ranging genres from popular culture and nature, to sports and personal stories by artists based in these regions who identify as living with disability or mental illness. 

Prize money for these events is provided by event sponsors and corporate partners.

The launch of artX Regional will be held at Rachinger Gallery on Thursday 3 April.
