Workplace Big Day Out

The Workplace Big Day Out started in Geelong in 2003 and remains one of the most popular events on the genU calendar. It brings together people with and an intellectual disability and employee volunteers from the business sector in a fully supported environment where those attending can form friendships, learn about disability, and have an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Attendees are allocated a team and spend the morning rotating around a number of sporting activities.  Each team consists of trained agency staff, corporate volunteers and clients from local disability agencies. 

This event is held annually in Geelong and will be held on Thursday 28 August, 2025.
