Art Day Programs
genU Participate runs a range of day programs to keep you engaged and build your skills.
All programs, including art sessions, are run by qualified support workers who will help you build your confidence and your skills. The group art programs offer a social group and community atmosphere to engage with.
You can access day programs in a number of locations, including:

- Northcote
- Colac
- Mornington
James Street Gallery
If you’re an artist with a disability looking for an access studio, we’ve got you covered. Come and take advantage of all the facilities that the studio has to offer. The studio is staffed by qualified and practising artists who will give you the autonomy to work independently while offering a helping hand when needed.
Whether your passion is drawing, painting, fine art printing, ceramics, or paper mache, they’ll be something for you at James Street Gallery.
Plus, the gallery is open to the public. So, come and have a peek at the wonderful works on display.

The artX Exhibition
artX is an exhibition and competition that embraces diversity, inclusion and celebrates amazing talent. The exhibition is run every year in locations across Victoria and features artworks by artists who identify as living with disability or mental health challenges.
Individual competitions are run annually in Geelong, Mornington, Northcote, Wyndham, Colac and Warrnambool.
