The Workplace BIG Day Out is a fun and unique employee volunteering experience. Supported by genU team members, volunteers will assist people with disability to participate in a program of fun filled physical activities. This event is full of fun and laughter. It’s a great way to engage with our clients and the wider community. We finish the day with a BBQ lunch for all and some lite entertainment. This volunteer opportunity shouldn’t be missed!

Our BIGGEST night of the year. Held annually, the Big Night Out attracts up to 600 people. This event is designed to promote genuine inclusion, a sense of community, greater tolerance, awareness and understanding of diversity whilst celebrating the importance of inclusion. It brings people with disability together with corporate community members in a fun and fully supported environment. With a 2-course meal, music, dancing and entertainment, its one of our highly anticipated events of the year. The 2024 theme is ’Iconic Australians’. Tickets go on sale in June!

YEE HA! You’re invited to genU’s first Tasmanian Big Night Out. Saddle up for a rootin’ tootin’ good time at our Boot Scootin’ Ball. This country-western themed extravaganza welcomes folks of all abilities, alongside families, friends, and staff. You’re welcome to dust off those cowboy boots or rock regular attire, for a night of dancing, live entertainment, and raffles.

2024 will be our sixth year of the genU Barwon Heads Stand Up and Play Golf Day held at the Barwon Heads Golf Club - one of Australia's top 30 golf courses. In partnership with Golf Australia and the TAC, the day provides an opportunity to become community champions, and be directly involved in making a unique, life-changing difference to people with disabilities across our region. Consisting of an Ambrose style game, a sit-down clubhouse lunch, breakfast on the go, guest speakers, on-course golf competitions, raffles, live & silent auctions, best dressed team and a lot of laughs.
